If the bronchitis is caused by an infection, then sure it can cause halitosis.
Sorry but are you a smoker or not? I couldn't really understand.

Do you have any other lung related symptoms? Like chronic cough, or tickling in you lungs?

Agree with you fully. The only two things that can cure you imo is surgery or antibiotics. Btw i waterfasted once for 8 days. It didn't help me. It came back shortly after eating again. One way to find out if the smell is coming from the tongue is to do the lick test. Lick your wrist with the back part of your tongue. Wait like 10 seconds. If there is a smell, it's coming from your tongue.
