How to deal with loneliness?
How to deal with loneliness?
So yeah, Ive been on this site for the past 15 years and my situation seems to be getting worse. I Thought I would've cured my room filling BB by now. Not!! Depression is worse than ever. My birthday was a week ago and there was no one there for me. Literally, as usual, I was alone on my birthday . I have not one single friend and I've never been in a relationship. Some members here talk about their husband and kids. All I can think is, well at least you got a husband. Ive spent the last 15 years hiding away from my family (like not spending christmas with them, but staying home alone) My last efford was a couple off weeks ago when I asked my doctor for a fructose intolerance test, but she gave me a different test instead . Just tired. I'm ashamed as wel. My neighbours also notice that I'm living alone and go nowhere.
Any ideas on how to survive this summer? What do you guys do?

Always remember one thing, ITS NOT YOUR FALUT and you should never feel ashamed because of a medical condition. Train your mind to not fall into darkness and stay STRONG.

Re: How to deal with loneliness?
I can completely understand your frustration and feelings. I was married for many years and I do have kids. You have no idea the stress and utter pressure I felt on a daily basis. I still do bc my kids are older and I don’t want to embarrass them wherever we go. I do stay away from the other parents as much as possible (mask wearing has been a blessing). However, I keep myself busy by doing online things. I’ve accepted it. I stay away from friends and family and see each other only on big holidays where I do a whole routine beforehand that usually lasts about 2 hours. Needless to say, I’m always the first one to leave. I feel like staying but I know that the full BB will come so I suck it in and leave. Then I thank God for giving me at least 2 hours of somewhat fun and connecting with family. Do things online, it helps a lot. I take walks by myself very often in nature and breathe in the fresh air. I feel good returning home even if I was alone all day. That helps revitalize myself. When I get truly lonely, I join a random online “live” feed from random people on social media and it helps. I watch Netflix to keep myself distracted. I booked myself a trip one day, yes- ALONE for a weekend. I had fun!!! I didn’t talk to people but I had fun watching people around me and just changing the environment. I got dressed up and walked around and took pictures of myself in these places. I was so happy and I was ALONE. Once you are able to do that, you are empowered and enjoy life. It took me YEARS to get to this point and yes I get lonely sometimes but whatever. I’m alive. I do try to take care of my weight since I can’t speak to people, at least I try to look good. I do see people look at me on the streets sometimes and that raises my self esteem. If anyone approaches me I act like BtCh and totally ignore them. Do I wish I could take back and connect with them? YES. EVERYDAY!!! but the reality I have accepted is that I can’t. In the meantime- I’ve stopped eating carbs and dairy. It has made a difference but the bb is still there. It’s just not room filling but it’s there. I also do that whole routine with the hibiclens, ting brush, water pik flosser, probiotics, and gargle like a maniac with random products. It’s still there tho- but removing dairy, carbs, tomatoe sauces (ketchup, sauce) and sugar helps about 40%. As much as I suffer with this curse, I’ve learned to lift myself up and enjoy life even if alone. I also take care of my skin and body so that gives me confidence since I can’t talk : (. So take care of yourself in other ways, learn to be alone and accept it and have fun! About 2 yrs ago I did have a guy constantly asking me out and I gave in and accepted. We had a beautiful evening and we kissed (I was freaking out) and he never complained(he offered me Halls afterwards I was dying i side). He asked me out again but I DECLINED. I couldn’t take the intense pressure and stress of even having to deal with it. But he did ask me out again and again. Eventually he stopped. My point is there are some people who won’t care about it if they’re really into you and like you or like your appearance. Sorry for the long post but I hope this helps some of you. If we stink when we talk we get depressed but let’s lift ourselves by improving other aspects of ourselves and gain confidence on that end. And learn to accept being alone and having fun. That trip was the best one I ever took and I came back happy and alive. The waiters I spoke to I will never see again bc the trip was in another place soooo whatever. Hahahah enjoy life

Hey, why are you feeling ashamed of yourself? Is it your fault? Why are you obsessing over it and blaming everything on your mistake? In my opinion, you want to boost your confidence and maintain it for your bright future. There may be many people here to disappoint you, but you have to try for that which you can. Then you ask how to survive this summer. Why don't you plan a trip somewhere else? It may help you rebuild your mind and fill positive vibes with you.

Try Oralbiotic Blis K12, it worked for me and i am amazed! it's not publicity, i want others to enjoy the benefits of this product. Maybe you tried probiotics, but not this specific strain. I am convinced that probiotics have an effect in the mouth flora, so is good to try different strains until you get the one you need.

I guess a good way of dealing with the loneliness is making as many friends online as you can. I’m willing to be your friend too Billie.
Life can hold you down when you’re not looking up

Some nice hobbies would be better like learning a language or playing an instrument.

I have always had boyfriends, most of them told me about my breath.
I just left a two year relationship, he called me stinkmouth and started to be too busy to see me. I was devastated. That led to me buying some fresh breath stuff like a mouthspray, enzymes, chlorella etc. he unfortunately is not here to experience if it works.
